Our parish supports two missionaries to Albania, Hannah Valentine and Gabriela Hoppe, making Christ known to a nation that was officially atheist from 1967 to 1990.
Hannah’s missionary work consists of educating Albanian youth in the Orthodox Christian faith amidst the rapid growth of secularism in Albania. She is involved in a high school-level catechism program, writes content for the Church’s elementary and middle school youth magazine called Gëzohu, and teaches high school Sunday School lessons at the Resurrection of Christ Cathedral.
