Our parish supports Nathan & Gabriella Hoppe, who have served as missionaries to Albania for many years, making Christ known to a nation that was officially atheist from 1967 to 1990. To learn more about the Hoppes’ ministry, visit the following link: Hoppe Missionary Family
Sacred Music

Our choir and chanters lead us in congregational worship. Service music binders are provided in each row. Recordings of parts for some of our hymns can be found here
Online Prayer Ministry

This group consists of parishioners who are committed to praying for requests that come in via email.
Fellowship Events

Men’s, Women’s, and All-Parish events help us to stay connected and to keep growing in our love for Christ and for each other.
Homeschool Co-op

Our homeschool co-op meets every Tuesday and includes students from preschool to middle school. We begin with Third Hour prayers, and then offer classes on a variety of topics: Science, Greek, Bible and Saints, Choir, Accordion, Piano, and much more!
Prosphora Bakers

A robust team of bakers offers the prosphora bread for the Eucharist each Sunday and participates in periodic baking classes.
Charity

We support a number of charitable organizations both locally and internationally, including Outreach Warrenville in Warrenville, IL; Lifespring Shelter for Women & Children in Need in Aurora, IL; Cathedral’s Kitchen in Chicago, IL; Saint Paraskeva Orthodox Charity in Romania; and St. Nicholas Uganda Children’s Fund in Uganda.
Altar

The clergy are joined by altar boys and altar servers in our parish’s liturgical ministry to the Lord.
Christian Education

Homily classes are offered for the children of our parish. Church School classes are offered the children, youth, and adults. In the fall of 2022, a new curriculum was introduced for the children and youth, covering Church History, Sacraments, Old Testament, and Gospels over a 4-year cycle.
Fellowship Meals

Our “agape meal” following the Divine Liturgy is a happy and important time of getting to know one another and growing closer together as a parish.
Building and Grounds

Through our “Adopt-A-Job” program, a team of faithful workers attends to weekly responsibilities to keep our buildings clean. In addition, the Men’s Fellowship works to maintain and beautify our grounds.
